PROJECT: De-Mexicanized Dime
Ok so the truck I bought a mexican guy owned it. It already has the front wheel wells removed, has bags, tanks, bed cut and more. Here's the issues though. I want to end up taking off the Ghetto bed cover and get a legit one. Get either Phantom grille for it since its a 96 S10. If not that, then do a conversion front end. SS Bumper. Better roll pan (since my roll pan is cracked). New bags, clean up the lines, tanks, valves and more. Interior Conversion to a 98+ S10. Especially since it has been leaked in before so it has a mildew smell. I would plan on swapping out even the carpets and more, disinfecting it, then putting a golf cart mirror, or just a stock mirror. Then when getting the conversion, get the door panels, dash sanded and painted, then getting a nicely fiberglassed center console. Double din for the radio since my radio doesn't work. I want to either fix the sunroof (it opens and closes fine) but said it could leak with a heavy rain (so I have a tarp over it now since we have some storms coming tonight). But either fix the sunroof by caulking and sealing it, or taking it out and shaving it shut. Want a new tailgate since the one on it has no handle haha, Also I want a decent fuel cell for it since the stock one was removed and has some random one sitting in the bed (and I can't read how much gas I have on the dash). Then sooner or later end up getting a new set of rims, scrape blocks and more.
If anyone has any parts they can hook me up with, or lend a hand on fixing a bunch of this crap that was mexicanized and half assed, that would be greatly appreciated and could possibly get a pack of beer for ya.

I would say you have a GIANT list there that really needs to be prioritized. Take it from someone who has been there before.
Step one is done, you made the list, now you need to decide whats most important.
PERSONALLY, I think you need someone who knows what they are looking at/for to go over your suspension. Someone who can check and make sure everything is welded fully, properly braced, etc. Is it linked? Is it Bag over axle? Whats the setup and how can it be improved? Cause there is no sense in putting any money elsewhere in the truck if you're going to need a new frame in 6 months. Fix what needs to be fixed, replace what needs to be replaced.
Then work on the exterior, get rid of your dents and your cracked rollpan, update your frontend if you want to, etc. I would worry about little shit like the interior later... yes of course get rid of the smell and hop on good deals if they come around, but no rush...
Plus, you already have wheels, (they may not be your favorite, but they are chrome and they are on there) so why not save them for later as well?
SIDENOTE: No racing seats in an S-10...

true true, yeah no racing seats in one. I haven't really messed with it since I bought it. Im sure its bag over axle. Im going to have a few friends take a look at it. Vinny is one of them (DragginAzz)

Re: PROJECT: De-Mexicanized Dime
How much you want for them? What else would I need? Im also looking for the stock fuel tank and everything with it. (they put some aftermarket fuel cell in) Ill even trade the cell, for the tank with cash on my end. I just want to keep the tank stock, just raise it up.
Re: PROJECT: De-Mexicanized Dime
60 bucks and u can have them. You'll need the headlights and pig tails for the bulbs. The rest is modifying hood fenders and shortening the grille
