does anyone know of any kinda of clear coat that doesnt get swirl marks so easily?

No clear has been proven to be better than the other.....its all in how you take care of it.3m imperial hand glaze is the shit!

we have a clear at work that is used on some bmw's. its dupont chromapremeir 72600 (? i'll have to check on that #). not sure on the swirl issue but it is like concrete to sand on for paint prep so i would imagine that it has some kinda extra protection. uses same hardeners and reducers as 72500

thanks guys..its been awhile since ive had paint on this thing so and havent had to worry about swirls.trucks gonna get painted in a few months and tryin to learn the best way to avoid swirls

Use a good swirl free polish on the last step and reduce the speed.....then as always with fresh paint don't wax it for like 6 month,but do use a good hand glaze

3m's 3 step process as been pretty sucessful for me. the third step is really only needed for dark colors (i use it for everything cause I'm a weirdo about perfection)
